Three kinds of content
ArcadeShelf originals are games created for this service. Official-source listings direct you to a rights-holder-approved third-party page and do not grant broader redistribution rights. User-provided files are selected from your own device and remain your responsibility.
No commercial ROM library
ArcadeShelf does not authorize you to download, share, or distribute copyrighted game software without permission. Historical coverage, compatibility notes, and emulator support do not imply that a ROM is free of copyright.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to distribute malware, evade access controls, overload infrastructure, misrepresent affiliation, or infringe intellectual property. Automated bulk downloading and attempts to bypass rate limits are prohibited.
External services
Third-party downloads and websites have separate terms. ArcadeShelf is not responsible for their availability, content, or later policy changes.
Availability and warranty
The service is provided as available. Emulation accuracy varies by device, core, and game. Back up your files and save data. To the extent allowed by law, ArcadeShelf disclaims implied warranties and liability for indirect loss.
