Who operates ArcadeShelf
ArcadeShelf is an independently operated project. Privacy inquiries can be sent to legal@arcadeshelf.com. Operator identity and service address will be supplied where legally required.
Website data
Our hosting provider necessarily processes IP addresses, request timestamps, browser identifiers, and security signals to deliver and protect the site. For first-party audience measurement, ArcadeShelf converts the connecting IP into a secret-keyed identifier scoped to one UTC day. Raw IP addresses are not stored by ArcadeShelf's analytics database, and the daily identifier cannot be used to link a visitor across days. We count successful HTML page views and daily unique network addresses, with known bots, prefetches, API requests, static assets, and Global Privacy Control requests excluded. We do not sell personal information.
Android Player data
Imported game files, filenames, control mappings, and save data remain on your device in the Alpha. The app does not upload your ROMs or scan unrelated storage. Crash diagnostics will be opt-in if introduced.
Cookies and local storage
Public pages do not require advertising cookies or an account cookie. Browser games may use device-local storage for preferences or a local high score; that information is not an authoritative cloud record.
External sources
When you continue to an official game source, that site applies its own privacy policy. ArcadeShelf does not control the destination's logging, cookies, or download terms.
Retention and requests
Day-scoped analytics identifiers are retained for up to 35 days; non-identifying daily totals may be retained for historical reporting. Hosting security logs are retained only as needed for abuse prevention and service reliability. To request access, correction, or deletion of information reasonably linked to you, email the address above. We may need to verify the request.
Children
ArcadeShelf is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect account profiles from children.
